NinjaNote: Use the yellow snapping lines (ensuring snapping is switched on at the bottom right of your screen) to line up your image widget exactly with other widgets on your template page.
Inserting an IFrame Widget
More of a dashboard-focused widget type, insert a supported URL and web content will be displayed in the widget and viewed in the dashboard. A couple of examples are an embedded URL for a YouTube Video or a URL linking to a form field for a more interactive experience.
NinjaNote: When a URL is inserted here, the content will load within the widget. If you’re expecting an interactive or video experience, you wouldn’t experience that within the template builder, but you will in the dashboard. If attempting to IFrame a YouTube video, be sure to include the Embedded URL of the video by selecting “Share” under the video on YouTube, and copying ONLY the URL portion from the displayed Embedded URL code snippet.
Due to most browsers protecting their users against ‘click-jacking attacks’ unless a website explicitly tells the browser that it’s okay to IFrame its content, websites cannot be IFramed.
In order to load a website in this IFrame widget, the original website needs to have certain configuration settings that white-list URLs for IFrame-ing. You can use this article as a reference
The IFrame widget will not always appear in reports or previews. At this time, this new widget type is dashboard-focused and for optimal performance should be used in dashboard templates.
1. Access the NinjaCat Template Builder
2. Select the desired template page
3. Click to open the Media section of the Widget Browser near the bottom right
4. Click on the IFrame Icon to insert a new IFrame Widget.
5. Insert a supported URL in the IFrame URL field
