The Status Column in the Reports List communicates to you active information about your reports. Sometimes this communication requires action in order to make sure a report properly generates. Sometimes the communication lets you know a report's progress through the generation process. This article is a guide to the statuses you will see in the Status Column and their meanings.

Resting Statuses
- Ready to Run - A report profile that is set to a manual (one-off) frequency, that has yet to be generated for the first time
- Ready - A report profile that is set to a manual (one-off) or scheduled (recurring) frequency, that has been generated at least once and never sent via email or has had a new report generated from it since the last time it was sent via email
- Sent - A report profile that is set to a manual (one-off) or scheduled (recurring) frequency, that has been generated at least once and sent via email automatically or manually
Generation Process
- Scheduled - A report profile that is set to a scheduled (recurring) frequency, that has yet to be generated for the first time - This is also the first stage in manual report generation seen right after clicking "Run Now" from the action menu
- Creating Report - Second Stage of report generation; adding the data to the reports' widgets and finalizing
Error Statuses
- Data Error - This error occurs as a result of one or multiple data widgets not being supplied with data. This can occur for many reasons. Many of these reasons can be remedied independently by the NinjaCat User. The error icon will be accompanied by a "Review" option. Click the "Review" text to get a better idea of what may be causing the issue.
NinjaNote: This data error review screen demonstrates that the error was caused by a problem validating an access token. This is an issue that can be remedied independently by the NinjaCat User by either refreshing the token for the data source or verifying the access credentials for the data source.
- Critical Error - This error occurs when a major step later in report generation than getting data fails. These errors are less likely to be remedied independently by the NinjaCat User. The error icon will be accompanied by a "Review" option. Click the "Review" text to get a better idea of what may be causing the issue.
NinjaNote: This critical error review screen demonstrates that the error was caused by a problem creating the final PDF. This is an issue that is less likely to be remedied independently by the NinjaCat User. When the resolution is found you can quickly re-run multiple failed reports.
- E-Mail Error - This error occurs when there is a problem with the white-labeled SMTP outgoing E-Mail settings in the Agency White Labeling Settings.
