If you're looking to assemble a collection of tables and charts to display data in your reports and dashboards—you're going to use the NinjaCat Template Builder. This article will guide you through the steps to access it and a guide to the Template Builder canvas features.

Accessing the Template Builder
1. Click on "Reporting" in the Main Navigation Bar
2. Click on "Templates" in the Sub Navigation Bar
3. Open an existing client template by searching for the desired template by name, then clicking on the page icon near the left
4. To start a new template, click on the "Create Template" button near the top right
The Template Builder Feature Map
- Template Page List - Add, select, order, label, copy, paste, and delete Template Pages
- Widget Selection/Arrangement List - View, Select, and Arrange the widgets on a desired, selected Page
- Template Name - View and rename Template Title
- Account Selection Dropdown - Select a NinjaCat Account to bring data into a template for viewing

Menu Bar - Buttons for four template actions:
- Save - Save the progress on your NinjaCat Template

Preview - Generate a static file preview of your template's current state

- When creating a Preview you will be prompted to select an Account and file format

Exit - Close template and exit Template Builder

- If Exit is clicked before saving you will be alerted

- Inspector - Panel consisting of four views containing full features and configuration for:
- Help Icon - Click to Access the NinjaCat Knowledge Base
- Full Screen - Click to enable Template Canvas Full Screen Mode (Hides Template Page List & Inspector Panel)
- Snapping - Click to disable and re-enable the Widget snapping feature
- Undo/Redo Buttons - Click to move back and forward through recorded Template Builder actions
