Ad Extensions in Google Ads expand your ad with additional information like call buttons, location information, links to specific parts of an advertiser's website, additional text, and more. In the Google Ads API (Application Programming Interface) the mechanisms that lead to ad extension data are referred to as Feed Placeholders. In order to report on ad extensions in the NinjaCat Template Builder, the Dimension to access is labeled "Feed Placeholder Type". This article explains how to use the Feed Placeholder Type Dimension and provides a key to translate the default dimension output, a numeric code, into plain text names for the ad extension type.
For an example of a report, you could build in NinjaCat, check out our Google Ads Report Template.
