You and your agency will want consistent messaging no matter what mechanism is sending messages on your behalf. NinjaCat sends email messages to your team members and clients for different reasons. HTML email templates for these messages are viewable and editable from within the setup settings. This article will explain the capabilities of editable HTML email templates.

HTML Email Templates
1. Go to the Setup Settings
2. Click on "Agency Settings" in the Setup sub-navigation bar
3. Click on the "Email Templates" tab under Agency Settings
4. There are four HTML Email templates for different types of communication from NinjaCat.
- Dashboard User Invite which is labeled as Dashboard User Welcome HTML Email Template
- Platform User Invite which is labeled as User Welcome HTML Email Template
- Legacy Report Delivery Email which is labeled as Report HTML Email Template (Legacy)
- Report Delivery Email which is labeled as Report HTML Email TemplateNinjaNote: The Template labeled, Report HTML Email Template (Legacy) only applies to customers sending reports from our Legacy product. (You will know if this applies to you)
5. The HTML markup for each of the email templates is contained in its own window on the Email Templates page.
6. To customize the templates the markup can be edited in the window.
7. After any and all changes to the template, markup click the "Save Changes" button
Text Placeholders
1. Arranged on the right of each of the template markup windows are text placeholders
2. The text placeholders are tags enclosed in brackets “{}”
3. These placeholders, when inserted into the body section of the markup, will replace the tags themselves with information you’ve designated in other areas of the platform.NinjaNote: In the Report Delivery Email Template, the {AGENCY_NAME} placeholder will be replaced with your Agency Name as designated in the platform
Preview A Template
1. Go to the Setup Settings
2. Click on "Agency Settings" in the Setup sub-navigation bar
3. Click on "Email Templates" under Agency Settings
4. If the markup for a given template is customized, to view a preview of the email template, click on the "Preview" button
