Dashboard users added under the Account Settings in NinjaCat only have access to view that one account's data. But what if you want to give your customer access to view the dashboards of multiple accounts? Fortunately, NinjaCat has the ability for you to give that level of access to one of your customers. You'll just need to add them as a user under the Setup Settings specifically limiting their permissions before adding them. This guide will walk you through limiting your customer's access to NinjaCat with User Roles, adding your customer as a user, and assigning which accounts you want your customer to have access to.
NinjaNote: To access the options of NinjaCat shown in this article your account must have a User Role that includes the permission "Manage Users". To change your permissions, please contact a NinjaCat admin from your team.

Limiting NinjaCat Access with User Roles
To give a customer access to more than one account you'll need to add them from the Setup Settings, which could potentially give them access and permissions in NinjaCat you may not want them to have. So before you add your customer as a user, it's important to first create a specific User Role that only has the permissions you want your customer to have in NinjaCat.
1. Go to the Setup Settings
2. Click on "Users" in the Setup sub-navigation
3. Click on the "Roles" tab under Users
4. From the Roles tab click the "Add Role" button near the top right
NinjaNote: Before clicking "Add Role" take a look at the existing Roles in your agency. One of your teammates may have already created a User Role with the permissions that you would like to give your customer.
5. Fill in all of the fields under Add Role
- Name - the name of the role as it will display when creating or editing a User (this field is required)
- Description - the help text which will be displayed on the right-hand side of a User Role
- All Permissions toggle switch
- "On" (toggled right) - enables every available permission in NinjaCat ("Full Access") for this User Role
- "Off" (toggled left) - makes the List of Available Permissions appear, from which you can enable the specific permissions you would like for this Role
NinjaNote: Follow the above link to view the List of Available Permissions. You can determine which permissions you need to grant your customers. (e.g. If you want your client to ONLY see the dashboard for multiple accounts the only permission they should have is "View Account Dashboards". It's generally a good practice to not give your customer any permission with the word "Manage" in its title.
6. Click the "Save Changes" button near the bottom left
Adding a New User
