BI Connect directly shares the database with the user, fully replicated and synchronized. Whether it's via a reader account or your own, pre-existing Snowflake account, you get full access to the database. It is always up-to-date with read-only access. This article explains how to use your NinjaCat Data, which is being stored via Snowflake, as a data source in Looker Studio.

Create a New Looker Data Source
1. After logging into Looker Studio, click on "Create" in the top left
2. Click on "Data Source" in the resulting sub-navigation
3. Use the search bar at the top or scroll to find the "Snowflake" connector under "Partner Connectors"
4. Click on "Untitled Data Source" in the top left to rename the data source
Connect Data Source to Snowflake
1. Authorize Google to use the Snowflake community connector by entering the Snowflake credentials from your BI Connect Snowflake account setup
- Snowflake "Username" = "Security Admin" on the NinjaCat BI Connect page
- Snowflake "Password" = the Snowflake account password created during BI Connect process
2. Enter your "Snowflake account URL" = Credential in the "Account" field and append ".snowflakecomputing.com" to the end
3. Choose role - If you used the credentials attached to the SECURITYADMIN role of your account, select SECURITYADMIN for this field
4. Choose warehouse - This name is in the "Warehouse" field on the NinjaCat BI Connect page
5. Choose database - This name is in the "Database" field on the NinjaCat BI Connect page
6. Choose schema - This info is in the "Schema" field on the NinjaCat BI Connect page
7. Enter your SQL query
8. Click "Connect" in top right
