Configuring a widget is essentially the same independent of which data widget you have selected. Once you click on the widget and add it to your template, select the template and click on the widget properties in order to configure your widget’s data:
Data Source: Select from a list of all supported data sources to select the source of data for your widget. You can select multiple data sources and report on them in the same table as long as the data source supports common metrics and dimensions.
Dimensions: For example, select the dimension Date, Campaign Name, Ad Group, Keyword, etc. You can select multiple dimensions for your data tables.
Metrics: Search for the metrics you wish to add by name and click on any metrics to add them to the list. To remove metrics from the list, click on the “X” icon next to each added metric.
Custom Metrics: Custom metrics can be configured that will give you the option to aggregate or use any combination of metrics of formulas from your data so that you can get exactly what you are looking for in your reports. For more information, see the article How to add custom metrics.
Filters: To filter your data in your widgets, search for the metric that you wish to use in your filter. Data rows will be filtered to only include rows that meet all of the conditions set in your filters.
