This article describes the process for connecting your data to NinjaCat and granting NinjaCat permission to access your data in Adwords, Google Analytics, Bing, Facebook, and other networks. The process for many of these networks is the same, so while Adwords and Google Analytics are used as the examples, the same process works for many of these different advertising channels.
You must have an Adwords MCC account in order to create an Adwords network for client reporting. To set up an Adwords MCC, start at: https://adwords.google.com/home/tools/manager-accounts/
To add your Adwords MCC account as a data source in NinjaCat, start by either clicking “Setup” from the drop-down menu next to your name in the top-right corner,
or by clicking “Add Data Source” from the Account Command Center:
If the network or data source already exists in your “data sources” list shown and you just need to update the password / token, follow these instructions for “Updating the password for your Network/data source”.
Otherwise, start by clicking the “Add Network” button to begin adding a new network:
Click the blue “Connect” button under the icon for Google Adwords:
In the same browser window but in a new tab, log in to your Google Adwords MCC account.
Go back to the tab with NinjaCat, type in a meaningful name for the MCC account you are adding, then click “Add Network”:
You will automatically be redirected to a page where you are asked to grant permission for NinjaCat to access your Adwords network. Click on the “Allow” button.
